Company Profile

Yes! Golf is the emerging leader in the field of advanced putter design and related technology.

Today, C-Groove putters are taking the golf world by storm, from the USA, to Europe and Australasia. Through the influence of european putting instructor and inventor Harold Swash, C-Groove putters are steadily helping amatures as well as professional golfers worldwide reach their highest playing performance.

How it works

C-Grooves 'lift' the back of the ball to start it rolling forward.

The naked eye can't see it, but when a regular putter face impacts a golf ball it results in loft causing skidding, side- and even back-spinning before the ball can begin rolling forward on the green. So the ball is more apt to be affected by any miniscule aberration it encounters. Even when struck on the right line, these effects are the principal causes of missed putts.performance_lft

The C-Groove on every Yes! putter solves this problem better than any other putter on the market. Which is why it's covered by multiple patents.

The secret is the 20-degree upward slant of the C-Groove's concentric edges. Upon contact, these edges grip the ball surface and apply physical forces that simultaneously lift the ball out of its resting position and impart and over-the-top rolling motion.

What happens next is changing the face of putting. Literally. See What itd oes on the demo images above. This is the condensed version of C-Groove technology.

The C-Groove design has been approved by both of golf's rule-making authorities: the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews (R&A) and the United States Golf Association (USGA).

What It Does

Early roll means less deflection and a straighter line.ball_roll
By gripping the back of the ball and lifting it forward on impact, the C-Grooves of a Yes! putter create almost instant stabilization, causing the ball to roll forward much sooner than any other putter. In fact, as much as six times sooner.

The above illustration is a detailed summary of multiple 20" test putts as conducted by an independent testing firm. Using a putting robot and a 100-frame-per-second video camera, they were able to show how the C-Groove putter dramatically and consistently outperforms the putters of major golf companies.

Balls struck with the Yes! C-Grooves invariably achieved forward roll within 3" to 4" while balls struck by competitive putters repeatedly skidded, skipped and spun before settling into forward roll in approximately 18 inches. And the sooner a ball achieves smooth forward roll, the better the line it will have and the less likely it is to be affected by aberrations in the green. In short, more putts will drop in.

Even when struck up to a quarter of an inch off center, the C-Groove putter rolls the ball sooner and more consistently.

This technology has been proven in thousands of comparison tests performed by professional and amateur golfers at over 100 PGA Tour Events worldwide and at major trade shows in the U.S. and Europe.

Perhaps the best endorsement is the fact that over 200 touring pros now use Yes! putters, without receiving any endorsement dollars to do so. They use it because of how well it plays, not how well it pays.

The Man Behind It

Meet Mr. Harold Swash.
A long time devotee of the science and art of putting. Indeed, in Europe Harold is affectionately called the "Putting Doctor" and has been the coach to the majority of Europe's Ryder team.

He's also a self described "sawdust engineer" who has spent nearly as many hours hunched over his workbench by night as he has hunched over a putter by day. So, in a way, it came as no surprise when he developed the most significant advance in putter technology in 1995.

Knowing that every putter face made forces a ball to skip, skid and spin in its critical first few inches of travel, he also knew if he could design a club that avoided this, he'd have a winner. The result, of course, is his patented C-Groove technology that allows balls to achieve forward roll almost immediately, so they have a better line and are less likely to be deflected en route to the cup.

Large club manufacturers, having had nothing to do with the breakthrough, refused to accept or embrace it. We at Yes! were immediately blown away by what we saw and formed a partnership with Mr. Swash.

Harold has also pioneered a number of ingenious putting Training Tools, and runs an elite Putting School of Excellence.

On Tour

Since introduction to Professional Tour Golfers starting in 2001, approximately 150 tour players throughout the world are now using Yes! Golf C-Groove putters. Unlike major brand golf companies who pay Professional Golfers to use their equipment, the players referred to below use C-Groove putters without pay because of superior performance.
